“When I was young, I never would have imagined that a culinary VET student will have the opportunity to fly overseas and attend lessons in an American community college. Today, I am happy to say that I have crossed the sea with my students” said an excited Eduardo Alzola, Principal of Galdakao Hostalaritza LHII.
He and 20 Basque culinary students from his school and from CEBANC college did a learning mobility to Minnesota in February 2020.
For a week they were taking cooking lessons in South Central College Minnesota combining lessons with leisure and tourism activities.
“It is one of the best experiences I have had in my whole life and I am very grateful to the TA3 alliance for giving me this life changing opportunity” said one off the Basque students after her stay in the States.
